On Wednesday, 4th March, 2026, The Head of Mission, His Excellency Justice Solomon Korantwi-Barimah received at the Embassy, Mr. Ahmed Reda, the Grand Chamberlain of the Presidency of Egypt. The purpose of the visit was to convey the compliments of the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, His Excellency Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to his Ghanaian counterpart, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, President of the Republic of Ghana, and People of Ghana on the occasion of Ghana’s 69th Independence Anniversary which falls on Friday, 6th March 2026.
The Ambassador, on behalf of the President of the Republic of Ghana, and the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa (MP) conveyed appreciation to the Egyptian Presidency for the visit. The two sides further acknowledged the longstanding cordial relations between Ghana and Egypt and reaffirmed their commitment towards working closely the mutual benefit of the citizens of both countries.
