On Saturday, 14th March, 2026 His Excellency Prof. Justice Solomon Korantwi-Barimah, Ambassador of the Republic of Ghana to the Arab Republic of Egypt with concurrent accreditation to Lebanon, the State of Palestine and the Sudan, hosted Ghanaian nationals working with the World Bank, the Africa Export-Import (AFREXIM) Bank, the Confederation of African Football (CAF), and the Africa Space Agency, as well as leadership of the Ghanaian Community and Students Union in Egypt at his Residence, as part of the activities in respect of the commemoration of Ghana’s 69th Independence Anniversary, to interact and engage on leveraging the diaspora for national development. The Ambassador urged all present to leverage the their expertise to drive Ghana’s development and expressed heartfelt appreciation for raising high the flag of Ghana in their respective institutions. He also encouraged continued unity and cooperation together with the Embassy and assured them that the Embassy’s doors was open to attend to Ghanaians.
