NETWORKING RECEPTION WITH THE EGYPTIAN-AFRICAN BUSINESSMEN’S ASSOCIATION (EABA)

H.E. Prof. Justice Solomon Korantwi-Barimah, hosted a networking reception with Dr. Yousrey Elsharkawi, Chairman and the members of the Egyptian-African Businessmen’s Association (EABA) to explore avenues in enhancing trade and investment between Ghana and Egypt.

Underscoring Ghana’s political stability, favourable investment climate, and strategic access to the West African market, the Ambassador welcomed partnerships that create value, facilitate technology transfer, create employment, and promote sustainable economic growth for the mutual benefit of Ghana and Egypt. Other key stakeholders represented at the reception were leaders of the Ghanaian community in Egypt and Ghanaians working with the Africa Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank).

The Chairman of the Association, Dr. Yousrey El-Sharkawi, during his remarks at the event, highlighted the human and material resources that the two countries share and underscored the Association’s readiness to support Ghana in enhancing trade and investment relations with Egypt.
